Description: This theme is still dark but with pale colours. More importantly it follows the metaphors we used to, so it will be OK when discussing with developers. What I mean? You know greenish parts of your code are always comments, or red parts of SQL code is bad (strings for dynamic SQL), as we all used to from visual studio, SQL or any popular IDEs. Description: A dark Visual Studio 2008 theme, adapted from my well received 2005 theme. Consolas font used for the main text editor window(s). I used to get really bad migraines from eye strain before putting together this high contrast theme. The font I use is your basic Lucidia Console 9pt. Description: I wasn't quite happy with Vibrant Ink or the Dark Side scheme from here http://weblogs.asp.net/infinitiesloop/archive/2006/08/06/Join-the-Dark-Side-of-Visual-Studio.aspx and couldn't decide which I liked more, so I tweaked them both and came up with this. I've been using it for a few months now and I like the way that things stand out (no squinting!) without overpowering the eyes the way a white background seems to. Description: I liked the screenshot that Jon Perot posted at http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/archives/000682.html so I made this configuration file for VS 2005. The background is a dark slate color. Plain text is silver. Key words are light blue with a dark blue background. I don't know what font Jon had originally, but I chose Lucida Sans Typewriter 10pt.
